My team and I partnered closely with U.S. Bank to provide social media strategy, calendar planning and full creative production. In 2021, we were able to increase engagement 87% year-over-year. We identified Pinterest as an under-utilized platform and re-launched on the platform with a clear visual style and custom content created to appeal to the interests of Pinterest users. In six weeks, we took U.S. Bank from 25 to 600,000 followers.
My close partnership with the client was key when the Covid-19 pandemic struck, allowing us to work together to create quick-turn relevant content that evolved with the situation. At a time when overall engagement for finance brands was down 40% in Q3 of that year, U.S. Bank increased engagement 2-3x over the previous quarter giving them the highest social engagement among financial institutions.
